Publication Opportunities

CYSCONF offers four levels of publication, each with its own conditions: the Abstract Book, the Conference Proceedings, journal opportunities and a monograph or academic book opportunity. Acceptance for presentation does not by itself guarantee publication of a full paper.

Four Levels of Publication

Conference Abstract Book (ISBN)

All accepted and registered abstracts are published in the official Conference Abstract Book, which carries an ISBN. The published abstract must match the accepted version. The Abstract Book is available during the conference.

Publishing only your abstract is entirely acceptable. You are not required to submit a full paper, and choosing not to has no effect on your presentation or on your abstract's inclusion.

Conference Proceedings (ISSN and DOI)

Full papers that pass double-blind peer review are published in the official Conference Proceedings, unless the authors ask otherwise.

  • The Proceedings carry an International Standard Serial Number (ISSN).
  • Each paper receives a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) registered with Crossref, so it remains permanently accessible and easy to cite.
  • Papers are published open access under CC BY 4.0 and made available for discovery through Google Scholar.

Conditions: the full paper follows the Author Guidelines, is original and unpublished, belongs to an accepted and registered abstract, and passes double-blind peer review.

Journal Opportunities

Selected full papers may be considered for publication opportunities in Scopus-indexed journals; final acceptance depends on paper quality and the decision of journal editors.

  • On request, authors receive guidance on how to submit their work to suitable journals.
  • Journal submission is separate from conference acceptance. Journals apply their own review and may request revisions.
  • Journal editors make all final decisions independently of the conference.
Submit Your Work

Monograph / Academic Book Opportunity

Participants may have the opportunity to develop their research into a monograph or academic book. Manuscripts submitted for book publication undergo peer review, and accepted books receive an ISBN and DOI. This route lets authors explore their research in greater depth than a standard journal article.

  • Present the research as a comprehensive scholarly work
  • Strengthen the author's academic profile
  • Reach researchers, academics, students and practitioners
  • Expand the author's publication record and support future academic or professional opportunities

This route is subject to editorial assessment and available capacity. Expressing interest does not guarantee publication, and final decisions follow peer review and rest with the publisher.

Peer Review and Editorial Process

  1. Similarity screeningwith Crossref Similarity Check (iThenticate)
  2. Double-blind peer review
  3. Evaluationof relevance to the conference themes, originality, methodology, ethical standards, clarity of writing and contribution
  4. Revision requestswhere needed, with the deadline stated in the reviewers' email
  5. Final decisionby the Scientific Committee
  6. DOI registration and publicationin the Proceedings

Payment of the registration fee does not guarantee publication.

Publication Ethics

CYSCONF follows a strict anti-plagiarism policy. Every submission is checked with Crossref Similarity Check (powered by iThenticate) before review. Similarity results are reviewed in context. About Crossref Similarity Check

Plagiarism, duplicate submission, fabricated data, inappropriate authorship and undisclosed conflicts of interest may lead to rejection or withdrawal. Authors must protect confidential and identifiable information, especially in research involving minors.

Indexing and Visibility

Each accepted paper in the Proceedings is assigned a DOI registered with Crossref. Authors and publishers may also apply for inclusion in services such as Google Scholar and DOAJ. Inclusion depends on each service's own criteria and is not guaranteed.
